On 4th July, Friday Monthly meeting at WWF-India MSO
Monthly meeting is arranged. A film “Jungle tale” based on the forests of Karnataka will be screened at WWF-India MSO, Dr D N road, Fort at 6.00pm. The screening is free for all however it is necessary to confirm your participation by Wednesday i.e. July 2.
on On 6th July, Sunday Nature trail to Shiloda, SGNP
A Nature trail is organised to the Shilonda trek of SGNP for subscribers and other nature lovers. The trail is known for monsoon flora.
Resource person: Prof. Sushil Shine. Meeting point – main gate of SGNP at 7.00am sharp.
Carry water and packed brunch and umbrella.
Programme is free for all. Those who are interested should register their names with WWF-India Maharashtra State Office, Mumbai, three days before commencement of the trail.
We are celebrating the `Van Mohotsav’ on the same day by organizing a forest clean-up at SGNP. Participants of the trail will also participate in the forest clean-up.
On 20th July, Sunday Nature trail to Karnala Bird Sanctuary.
A Nature trail is organised to the “Karnala Bird Sanctuary” for all subscribers and other nature lovers. The place is well known for birds but monsoon flora and lesser fauna cannot be ignored.
Resource person: Mr. Adesh Shivkar The trail charges are Rs. 350/- for WWF-India subscribers and Rs. 450/- for others.
The cost includes travel by private vehicle and forest charges at Karnala.
Registration: as soon as posible. Carry water and packed brunch and umbrella.
