If you are adventure lover or want to try some adventure or plainly looking for a break from your daily routine then join the club. Here is the opportunity to get away from the cities crowd and noise to the evergreen ,ever loving mother nature .And this time its not just any adventure or recreational activity but lots more fun with trekking in Naneghat ….
A little about Trekking
Trekking is basically journey on foot, especially to hike through mountainous areas and is absolutely safe even for beginners
A little about the place: Naneghat
This sheer cliff owns its fame from history date due to its strategic location. Just standing on the cliff One can view all major peaks of Sahyadris like Harishchandragad, Kalsubai, Siddhagad etc.Also the inscriptions, the steps, the rock-cut rest houses, and the cisterns show that as far back as the 1st century B.C. this route was frequently used.
Here is the schedule
8th March, 2009
6:00 am – Meet at Dadar to start towards Kalyan (We leave sharp at 6:15 am)
7:30 am – We reach Kalyan via local train
10:00 am – We reach the highway drop off point ‘Vaishakhare’ via ST Bus.
The trek begins
1:00 pm – We reach the top
3:00 pm – Return journery start.
5:30 pm – Reach highway.
Things to Carry
Good bag to carry all the things
Water bottles 2 liters.
Please come in comfortable clothes like trek pants and T-shirts along with Trek shoes
Torch (along with spare batteries)
Cost: Rs 500/-
Included in fees:
It will cover your traveling charge, 2 snacks with tea and pack lunch.
What is not included in fees:
Mineral Water, Cold drinks, etc.
Snacks like chips.
Anything not mentioned in included list consider it to be out of package.
Registration is on first come first serve basis
Your confirmation is considered only after receiving the registration amount.

That unlike conventional picnic, it is an adventure event wherein we are going to take local transport, eat available local food. It’s absolutely safe and easy trek if any unnecessary risk and bravado is avoided.
