Rappelling and Rope management with Trek Mates 10th of April 2009

Moving a step ahead in the adventure sports field we, Trek Mates, are arranging a one day Rappelling and Rope Management session on 10th of April 2009.

Location : kasara.
Height : approx 120 feet
Grade : Medium.
Rappelling
also known as abseiling is a method of a quick and safe descend after a climb. It’s an act of descending a mountain face by sliding down a rope, which is attached to a body harness and fastened to an overhead projection, with sufficient friction provided as to make the speed of descent controllable.
It’s the best exercise to overcome the fear of height. Feel the thrill of suspension at the height of about 100 feet’s. Come experience the incredible feeling of success and accomplishment when you touch the ground.
Rope management :
Learn the basic rock climbing knots that will cover most situations. If you master these few knots and their variations you will have the tools that will help you to securely enjoy climbing, ski mountaineering and mountaineering.
The Charges per per are Rs 250/-
That includes travelling from Kasara to Kasara.

Lunch for Saturday,
A bottle of water (Atleast 2 Ltrs),
Personal Identification (Compulsory)
Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes
2-3 bunch of papers
Camera(Optional)
Cap, etc.
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

The event is on 10th that is on Friday……so “Lunch for Saturday”……..it shld be friday
