Young Indians-Goa Chapter,

Outside of the professional activities and programs we do, we also meet for team-building events once a month like kayaking, picnics, hikes and other outdoor/recreational events.

For February, we are organizing an introductory scuba diving daytrip for members, and your non-member friends and family are also welcome. If you’ve never dived before, this would be an excellent introduction to the underwater world.

Here are a few preliminary details, and more will follow.

– This is a one-time introductory dive that will allow complete beginners to get a taste of scuba. It does not include scuba certification which is required for future dives.

– It will be a half-day event, including orientation/training by professionally certified instructors in a swimming pool, followed by a 12 mts deep (40 ft) dive at a shipwreck off the Bogmalo coast.

– Cost is Rs. 3,000 per head, including training, gear, and transportation to/from the dive site.

– Participants need to know basic swimming, and should be above age 10.
