“Ubajem” is located in Nirankal village of Ponda Taluka. This village is very much known for its beautiful and precious forests amongst both conservation people and poachers.
The government reserve forests in the region have not been much explored by the people, excluding the locals. The ample water resources as well as the flourishing bio-diversity of the region have not come to the limelight for a long time now.
Union of Wildlife Activists – Goa organizes a trek to Ubajem Waterfall on 30th October 2011, Sunday.
