We at WILD RANGERS arranged Day Trek to Rajgad & Torna on Friday, 4 November 2011 to 6 November 2011.

RAJGAD FORT (WELL KNOWN AS D KING F D ALL D FORTS)
One of the forts of Maharashtra state in India. Situated in the Pune district, the fort is approximately 4620 feet above sea level.
Formerly known as Murumdev, it was capital of the Maratha Kingdom (Hindavi Swarajya) ruled by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for almost 26 years, after which he moved to Raigad fort and made that his capital. Treasure found on adjacent Torna Fort was used to fortify this hill.

The Shirdi Fast Passenger train scheduled at 22.55 Hrs from CST will drop us at Pune around 04.30 Hrs. Pls be punctual… Following is timing where train halts… you can catch wherever it is comfortable to you… Book your tickets in advance if possible.

23.08 Hrs: – Dadar
23.33 Hrs: – Thane
23.50 Hrs: – Kalyan

Saturday, 5th November 2011.
03.28 Hrs: – Shivajinagar

Move to Swargate Bus depo by Available Transport
(People coming directly to Pune can join us at Swargate Bus Depo on Saturday 5th November 2011, at 04:30 AM)

04:30 Hrs: – Move Towards Gunjavane Base Village by Nasrapur Fata by Public Transport
08:00 Hrs: – Reach Gunjavane Base Village

Breakfast and Refreshment a Base Village

08:30 Hrs: – Head Towards Rajgad
12:00 Hrs: – Reach Padmavati Temple

After having Lunch we will Explore Padmavati Machi, Suvela Machi, Nedhe and Balekilla
18:30 Hrs: – Gather at Padmavati Temple and Rest
20:00 Hrs: – Dinner at Padmavati Temple

Campfire and some fun till 22:00 Hrs Near temple

22:00 Hrs: – Rest in Temple

Sunday, 6th November 2011.
05:00 Hrs: – Wake up for Refreshment and Breakfast
06:00 Hrs: – Lead Towards Sanjivani Machi
08:00 Hrs: – Move towards Torna Fort via Alu Darvaja
11:00 Hrs: – Reach Torna Fort

Lunch(Available locally) and Fort Exploration

01:00 Hrs: – Move Towards Mahadev Mandir. If time permit we will go to Zunzar Machi
03:00 Hrs: – Start Descending to Velhe Base Village
05:30 Hrs: – Breakfast & Refreshment at base village

Move towards Pune Station by available transport, from Pune we will catch State transport or Railway for Mumbai.

We will be in Mumbai by 23:00 Hrs (Timings may vary ½ hr, with subject to individual’s pace at trek and traffic conditions)

Things to be carried: –
A Water Bottle (~3.5 Ltrs),
Torch With Extra Battery (Must)
Sleeping Mat /Bag/Woolen Cloths (Must)

Mug, Dish and Spoon (Must)
Lunch For Saturday Afternoon 
Camera, Cell Phone,
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Medicine those if you require usually (Optional)
Extra Pair of clothes,
Good trekking shoes, carry extra pair of shoes or floaters if possible
A haversack to put all these things

Trek Fees Rs. 600.00 per head includes traveling from Pune and back to Pune, 2 meals & 4 brakfasts.

All our treks are Eco-friendly treks; kindly take care of nature around us.
Smoking and Drinking alcohol during trek is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from trek without refund.
