YHAI MALAD UNIT has completed a successful journey of 25 years and to mark this occasion we
Have taken up a special event – Plastic Cleanup Drive on 25 different forts on 30th June 2013.
On this day, 25 different Teams of Malad unit will trek 25 Forts (Visit: http://www.yhaimalad.org/) in Sahyadri range with the aim to spread awareness on the disadvantages of plastic and provide the best tips for proper disposal of plastic waste. We request you all to participate in this drive in large numbers and make it a huge success. We are inviting you to participate among one them, I get the opportunity to to lead KORLAI FORT near Alibaug, which offers a spectacular view of the beach and the fishing hamlet,
The Korlai Fort is famously known as the Morro or Castle Curlew. It was constructed by the Portuguese in the town of Korlai, on the island of Morro de Chaul, that is the village of Chaul, in 1521 – almost 500 years back.
