The Kaas Plateau is a very famous place near Satara among the Nature lovers. The 1000 Hectare (approx.) Plateau is a Paradise of the wild flowers which bloom in the Monsoon, every year.
This plateau has around 850 different species of flowers and other plants. One has to see it to experience the Beautiful Carpets of colorful flowers throughout the plateau.
A small Village on the Koyna Backwaters is a scenic place to be. The place is known as a hub for the people who want / need to travel across the backwaters to Vasota, Nageshwar and other places in the Koyna Sanctuary. The road to Bamnoli goes through dense forest which offers a beautiful ride.
The Plan –
Meeting Point: Sinhgad Road Bypass Flyover near Vadgaon Budruk.
We will start the journey at 6:00 AM by own vehicles.
Breakfast: at Satara at 8:00
We will ride to Kaas after the Breakfast.
Explore Kaas 9:00 – 13:00
Ride to Bamnoli for Lunch.
Post Lunch, Participants can avail some time for Boating (if anyone is interested –Boating Cost will be paid by Participants).
15:30 – Ride back home.
NOTE: MUMBAI Participants can join us at Satara / Pune as per convenience.
Vehicles will be shared accordingly.
Things to Remember:
The Plan has been mentioned as per the ideal scenarios. It may vary as per the real time Conditions.
Cost of the trek would be INR 350/- + Fuel Cost.
(Fuel cost will be shared among the Participants as per the Vehicles they will be travelling on/in)
