Wearing of Helmets is Mandatory. Helmet straps are to be secured firmly. If found riding without a helmet, rider will be disqualified and rider no. will be immediately taken away by.
Wearing of Rider No. is Mandatory. You will be given you rider no.s and instructed on its exact placement at the briefing.
No Personal Support vehicles are allowed. Participants seen to be accompanied by support vehicles of any kind will be disqualified.
Number of participants at start of each category should be minimum 3, in which case, prize will be awarded only to 1st place.
If there are less than 3 participants in any category, the race will be cancelled, but participants may ride and receive an e-certificate of completion.
Organizers decision regarding results is final.

AGE CRITERIA
YOUTH: Born in the years 1997, ’98 and ‘99 (ie all persons born between 1st Jan 1997 and 31st Dec 1999) copy of Birth Certificate, Passport or other Age proof is required to be submitted at time of paying fees. Parental Consent Form may be downloaded and submitted or it has to be signed by parent/guardian at time of paying fees.
SENIORS: Born in 1973 or before (ie all persons born on or before 31st Dec 1973) copy of proof of age in the form of copy of driving licence, pancard, passport or any other government attested document is required to be submitted at time of paying fees.

BICYCLE CRITERIA
 ROAD RACING BIKE: Must have a freewheel mechanism (single or multiple gears), two working brakes; two wheels equal in size – 700c (622mm bead seat diameter of rim and tyre) and a drop handlebar (curved racing handlebar). Tyre sizes of varying widths are permitted. Not allowed are any/ all of the following accessories: stands, carriers, panniers, locks, aero bars, aero bar extensions or mudguards, these must be removed before the event. Track (fixed wheel) or recumbent bikes are not allowed.
MOUNTAIN BIKE: Must have a freewheel mechanism (single or multiple gears), two working brakes (V, cantilever or disc); two wheels equal in size – 26in (559mm bead seat diameter of rim and tyre) or 29er (622mm bead seat diameter of rim and tyre) wheels and a flat or riser handlebar. The fork may be rigid or with suspension. Bar ends are permitted. Tyre sizes of varying widths are permitted. Not allowed are aero bars or aero bar extensions these must be removed before the event. Fixed wheel or recumbent bikes are not allowed.
HYBRID BIKE: Must have a freewheel mechanism (single or multiple gears), two working brakes (V, cantilever or disc); two wheels equal in size – 700c (622mm bead seat diameter of rim and tyre)  or 28in (622mm bead seat diameter of rim and tyre)  wheels and a flat or riser handlebar. Bar ends are permitted. The fork may be rigid or with suspension. Tyre sizes of varying widths are permitted. Not allowed are aero bars or aero bar extensions these must be removed before the event. Fixed wheel or recumbent bikes are not allowed.

If unsure of what category your bicycle conforms to, you may bring it to Lifecycle by prior appointment for a technical inspection up to 2 days before registrations close.

Though modifications are permitted/ encouraged, anybody trying to ride a Hybrid Bicycle in the MTB category will not be allowed to do so. The manufacturer’s website will be referred to for final decision on which category the bicycle belongs to.
