Nature Trail to Padle Village !!   About the Tour : It is a small village near Dombivli, which has survived from development yet and has managed to keep the wildlife healthy. Its a small village with some good dense forest and shows amazing presence of forest birds. We get regular sightings of the most beautiful bird “Asian paradise flycatcher” also other flycatchers. So get ready to increase your lifer list. This nature trail is open for all the serious nature lovers & photographers and Mumbai Travellers’s leader will be there to guide you for the same. We shall focus on all sort of Flora & Fauna that nature will gift us.   Batch Date : 29th November 2015   Highlight : Birds   Duration : Half Day session   Things To follow on nature trails: Please wear dull coloured clothes. Maintain silence in such places. Dont litter. Follow the Expert. Apply mosquito repellent cream. caps/hats suggested. Follow instructions given by the expert   Outing Schedule : All the travellers will be meeting at Dombivli station at 6.30am, from there we will move towards Padle village. Trail will start around 7.30 am with the sunrise. We will try to spot maximum number of species. There will be a short session of “How to Identify Birds”. It will help everyone to start with the beautiful trail. Trail ends around 11.30am and we will move towards Dombivli station by auto. Later everyone disperse for their respective location.   NOTE: One should fo

Trek to the Highest Peak of Maharashtra !! About the Tour : Kalsubai Peak is the Highest Peak of the Sahyadris (1646M) in the Akole Taluka of Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra. Kalsubai Temple is Located at the Topmost peak of Sahyadri Mountain Range Of Maharashtra. To reach the summit there are various trekking routes and animal tracks. The main route starts from the village of Bari which is about six km from Bhandardara. To reach Bari, one has to travel to Igatpuri on the Mumbai Nasik route.     Outing Date : 28th-29th November 2015 Category : Trekking Level : Easy Duration : 1 Day/ 1 Night   DISCLAIMER :   Avoid carrying heavy weight for the trek. It is completely a 4 hours trek and not a picnic. The instructions given by the leads and co-leads must be followed by all travellers.   As it is Trek from a nomadic village, there are no toilets available.   Non-Vegetarian snacks or Food are not allowed on Trek. Consumption of Alcohol or smoking is strictly prohibited on trek. Drinking or Smoking and the arguments will not be entertained.   Outing Schedule : Day 01 : Saturday Board the Kasara Fast train from CSTM by 06:25 pm. Meet at Kasara Station By 08:39 pm. Taking Transport from their till base village Bari by private transportation. Freshen-up and rest. Starting Hike at 12:30 am. Reaching at The Top by 3 am. Rest Till Morning.   Day 02 : Sunday Watching The First Sunrise from the Top of Maharashtra. Have Tea and Breakfast and Proceed for Temple Darshan. Start descending by 11 am. Reaching Base by 01:30 pm and Proceed back for Mumbai By 3 pm. We will reach back by 6 pm at home. About the Tour : Prabalmachi is the midway base village for two famous treks near Navi Mumbai named Prabalgad and Kalavantin. Reach Panvel at 1:00 pm and gather together at the Ticket counter. After a briefing session, grab your seat in the transfer vehicle and here we start our journey towards the base village of Prabalmachi. Enjoy the journey with beautiful nature-scapes, gupshup and songs during the journey. Reach base village of campsite by 2.30 pm.   On arrival we will have a short round of briefing and introduction session at base village, later we will proceed for a small trek of an hour through a dense forest, opening at times to give the scenic view of Kalavantin and Prabalmachi. Our secluded camping site is exactly at the base of these two mighty Treks. Energize yourself with a refreshing welcome drink by the locals. After relaxing will go ahead for the Tent Picthing activity, the most exciting part of the trip.
