Event Lead: Amod / Harshal Short Info: BORDI BEACH: Bordi Beach popularly known as the DahanuBordi Beach is admired for its peaceful and untouched beauty. The sea line stretches 17 km from Dahanu to Bordi and is marked by blackishsticky sands and chikoo orchards. SHIRGAON FORT: Entrance thru the main darwaja at the north-eastern part of the fort. This fort resembles Muslim architecture with its dome shaped bastions. Just at the entrance on the right-side are inscriptions dating the origin of this fort to 1714 A.D KELVA BEACH & FORT: Kelva Beach is the longest beautiful stretch in Thande district total length is 8KM. The beach is surrounded by Suru trees which can be seen while walking towards the beach. The beach have two forts one is on the southern tip constructed by Portugese in 16th Century. Another is in northern tip which can be visited during the time of low tide. SHITLADEVI TEMPLE: The Shitla Devi Temple, a ancient Hindu temple is situated just besides the beach.
