The Dudhsagar Falls, located in the Indian state of Goa is one of the most magnificent sights in India. Nested in the dense forests of the Braganza Ghats at the border of northern Karnataka and Goa, the Dudhsagar Falls are at a height of over 1,000 feet.
In the monsoons, the Western Ghats are drenched with heavy rainfall, making the falls an amazing sight to behold.
The waterfalls are accessible only by the Londa-Madgaon train route which connects Goa to Karnataka, In this short video, I present shots of the Dudhsagar Falls from two angles, on the same day. The first is a close up shot from the Amaravathi Express, where the fury of the waterfalls is on display as the train itself is drenched by the falls. I return on the same day by the Goa Express and present the train’s winding journey up to the falls.
