Devkund Waterfall – "The bathtub of Gods and Goddesses"

Devkund – “The bathtub of Gods and Goddesses”

Devkund waterfall is situated in Sahyadris near village of Bhira in Raigad. It is considered as the origin on Kundalika river.

An early morning ride to Bhira village and a day trek to Devkund waterfalls. 8 – 10 kms of trek from Bhira Village to the waterfall. Do not attempt to trek alone without a guide. There aren’t signs or path that will take you there. Reaching the village and trek is difficult however on reaching Devkund you will be rewarded for your efforts.

It is advisable to take Tamhini ghat via Pune rather than NH 17/66 as road conditions are miserable on NH17. The difference in comfort on both routes are day and night.
