Duke’s Nose after Duke Wellington also known as Nagphani, is a cliff at between Khandala and Lonavla said to be the paradise of trekkers.The Cliff is pointed like a snakes pointed head portion (hood) and hence the name Nagphani (Nag means snake and phani means hood). The trek is perfect blend of beauty and adventure.
Date — SUNDAY 9th Aug’09
Route — Pune – Khandala (by Sinhgad Express)—Droserra ground- Waterfall point -Duke’s Nose – Kurvande village -Lonavala -Pune
Trek Grade — Simple and enjoyable
Assemble at — SHIVAJINAGAR Railway Station near enquiry window , 5.30 am sharp
You must bring — Cap, shoes , Lunch , sufficient water , Full pants((half pants not allowed), jerkin…
Trek Fees — Rs. 150/- ( includes Travelling expenses+ BF+ Evening Tea)
