WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES OF GOA – Batch II 26th – 29th September 2011
Chorla Ghats region of the Western Ghats of Goa has been acknowledged as a Mega Biodiversity Hotspot. Just a stroll outside the eco-cottages at Wildernest can reward the participants with a variety of life forms. Birds like Malabar Grey Hornbill, Flame-throated, Yellow-browed, Grey-headed and Black Bulbul, Dark-fronted Babbler can be seen during this camp. Apart from birds other wildlife like Indian Giant Squirrel, Sambar and Cheetal; snakes like Hump-nosed Pit Viper, Green Vine Snake, Bronze-backed Tree Snake can be seen easily. During this camp, we will be exploring Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary, Mollem National Park and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary.

How to Reach: Konkan Kanya Express (10111) Starts from Mumbai CST at 23.05 hrs, and reaches Thivim at 10.40 hrs.
Return: Konkan Kanya Express (10112) Reaches Thivim at 17.36 hrs (2 min halt) reaches Mumbai at 05.50 hrs.
Meeting Point: Thivim railway station at 10.45 hrs, drop back to Thivim Railway station at 16.30 hrs
