What to Carry for a trek

I am listing some basic things here .

Please email me if you want to add anything more to the list (all suggestions welcome ) .I want to make the best list for me and for anyone who goes trekking.

The Real Basics (level One ) – Everyone should have it .

Track Pant . (This allows you to climb over boulders which is not possible with jeans. It also prevents your legs from getting scratched by thorns.And bitten by insects on the leaves).
Long sleeve shirt (This helps keep away thorns and insects/fire ants along the way)
Cap (protection against sun,rain, over head thorns)

Water (2 x 1 litre bottles)

Bandana (options) this is any long cloth to tie over your heard (this is useful if you have glasses as it prevents sweat from coming on the glasses.) Bandana + cap

Raincheater (Optional) for those who don’t want to wet

Camera, Cell Phone, Binoculars (Optional)

Pls avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Good trekking shoes,
Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)

A haversack to put all these things
