More about Rock Climbing:
Rock climbing is a sport in which climber climb up or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls with the help of climbing equipment or without them.
The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a pre-defined route. Talent of a rock climber involves completing the route in the quickest possible time or the furthest along an ever increasingly harder route. Climbing is use of hands and legs to support the climber’s weight as well as to provide balance. Knowledge of proper climbing techniques and usage of specialized climbing equipment is crucial for the safe completion of routes.
Rock Climbing techniques, knots and rope management is also very helpful in treks especially where you have to face rock climbing patches. It is said that “A Trekker should have at least basic knowledge of Rock Climbing & Anchoring”.
Details of Session:
Date – 9th , 16th , 23rd & 30th December 2012 (4 Sundays)
Time – 8.00 am to 4.30 pm. Reach SGNP gate SHARP by 8.00. Call any of the core team member.
Difficulty Level – Easy (You learn to conquer all possible fears in you)
