Tiger sighting in Bandhavgarh National Park

Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 | mumbaihikers | Bandhavgarh National Park

This is the Bamera Male Tiger also called the New Tala Male. He is a real Hunk of a tiger. He is around 7 years old, full of strength, power, energy and vigour. He is a combination of muscles and drop dead good looks.

This male can foil the plans of Bokha (another dominant tiger) in his pursuit to the throne of Bandhavgarh once B2 is gone.
He has already taken over some of the territiory of B2, the most dominant tiger of Bandhavgarh and also made Bokha retreat once in a squabble with him.
He is a guy to watch out for.

We spotted him at Jurmani Tiraha and then followed him till Jurmani water hole and finally left him to rest at Kithkiya. He must have had a hearty feast on the kill that’s why his stomach is looking so swollen.
