Everest Base Camp Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

After breakfast we set out for the fourth day under a clear blue sky and a warm rising sun.
The first part of the trek to exit the village is the same path we took the previous day to start off the acclimatization hike.
Even though we know the trail, it doesn’t feel any easier as we so settle in our hotel at Namche.
After trekking for a while we came across this Stupa dedicated to Tenzing Norgay and the Everest Sherpa’s. Here you can clearly see Ama Dablam, which is my Favorite peak by now.

Till Namche we shared the same trail with all trekkers, people trekking to Gokyo Ri, Three Passes, Everest Base Camp, Now the trail will get separated. So we may not see some familar faces we saw during our earlier trek.

All along the trail, we pass by small mountain villages, composed of a few houses and shops selling anything and everything.

This was one of the few bridges on which was not crowded, so we got enought time to try crazy stuff like walking backward 😛

After this bridge was the final ascent to Tengboche. The ascent comes to end at the gate leading to Tengboche.

Tengboche Gompa, the biggest and most active one in the Khumbu region.

Then we descended to the valley to get to our lodge for the night.
