Trekking and training at Sudhagad

Sudhagad / Bhorapgad is a hill fort situated in Pali in Raigad. It was considered by Chatrapati
Shivaji Maharaj as the capital of his kingdom. He surveyed it, but instead chose Raigad because
of its central. There is a Bhairav devi temple, Pantashi wada, Mahadarwaja, ruins of store house
and secret path. There is a vast plateau on the top of the fort from where you can have beautiful
view of the vast sky above and villages spread out till the horizon. There are few water christen
on the way and two lakes on the fort.

Trekking & Training at Ramshej, Ankai and Tankai (Children Special)

All three forts are in Nashik Region. Ramshej Fort has very old History, Maratha sardar fought
with Mogal for 5 1/2 years to save this fort. Ankai and Tankai are twin fort. On Ankai fort we
found caves and Temple. Tankai fort used to keep watch on commercial route to Aurangabad.Trekking & Training at Alexander Point Ascend Matheran

Offbeat ascend to Matheran by the most beautiful trek route. Initial ascend is of 100 meters from
Pokharwadi to Katwan which is 3 hours leisure walk. Thereafter steep challenging ascend of 550
meters which takes 2 hours to reach Alexander point.

Kailashad is one of the uncommon trekking destination situated on bank of Mula river. Ghangad
is on border of Kokan and Sahyadri Mountain range giving excellent view of kokan valley, Tailbaila
wall and Sudhagad.

This is very old trade route gives magnificent views of Harishchandra gad, Rohidas, Bhairavgad,

Rules & Regulations:
• Smoking and Drinking of Alcohol is prohibited, if found the membership will be cancelled.
• Unit is not responsible for whatsoever mishap during its Program at Unit level or its State and
National level.
• YHAI Membership is compulsory for participation in any event. Bring your YHAI Identity Card
while attending any Program.
• YHAI Malad Unit Members will be given first preference for each program (in the first week
from date of registration of any program) and second preference will be to YHAI Members of
any other unit.
• What you will bring for One day trek :-
One time lunch, Emergency food, Water Bottle, Torch, Trekking Shoes,
Sun Cap, Ruck Sack, personal medicine, etc.
• What you will bring for Two day trek :-
One time lunch, Emergency food, Water Bottle, Plate, Glass, Spoon, Torch, Trekking
Shoes, Cap, Ruck Sack, Carry mat, Shawl, Extra pair of clothes, personal medicine, etc.
• Wear full sleeves clothes and full pants to avoid Sun burn, insect bites.
• 10 to15 days advance booking for 2 day treks& 7 days adv. booking for 1 day treks is must.
• Confirmation of names for participation is subject to payment of advance wherever stated.
• On cancellation of participation 7 days before the trek, 50% of the adv. will be forfeited
• On cancellation of participation 3 days before the trek, 75% of the adv. will be forfeited
• Unit has the authority to make any kind of changes in the Program without prior intimation.
