YHAI Malad trans sahyadri 5 day trek oct – nov 2019

Day 1:

Participants report directly at Base Camp near Karjat Railway Station between 18:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs.
Registration and introduction followed by Dinner.

Day 2:

Reach village Kondane by private vehicle. Trek will start at 08:00 hrs. Visit ancient Buddhist caves on the way with steep climb starting after.
Participants will reach the camp site by 13:00 hrs and have their lunch. In the evening, the group will visit the twin forts of Rajmachi, which exist since King Satavahanas & contructed between 200 BC to 250 AD.

Day 3:

Trek will start with lake side views in the morning.
At 10:00 hrs group will proceed for Kondeshwar temple. Participants have to take pack lunch on the way from Valvan village, which lies on other end of scenic Shirota Lake.
Before reaching the camp site standing on edge of Sahyadri one can watch grand view of Dhak fort and Bahiri pinnacle.
by 16:00 hrs group will reach Kondeshwar temple.

Day 4:

Group will depart from Kondeshwar at 07:30 hrs and will have first halt at Dhangarwadi, which is top of Kusur plateau. Then proceeding towards campsite at Lalwadi village on the bank of huge Andre Lake. fairly around 13:00 hrs group will reach the Kusur camp.

Day 5:

Group will start walking down the Kusur Ghat. On the route, marvelous view of Kusur Valley and Bhivpuri Electric Plant can be seen.
The group will reach village and have lunch at Vaijnath and conclude the trek with Certificate Distribution.
Participants will be dropped to Karjat Railway Station by private vehicle

Participation Fees:

Rs. 3500/- per head by cash or Order favouring ‘YHAI Malad Unit’ payable at Mumbai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank.

Membership of YHAI is compulsory for all

Eligibility Of Age:

No bar for those who are above 11 years old and up to 60 years old, but young at heart. However, the age restriction will be adhered to, strictly.
