Lonavala to Bhimashankar is known to be one of the ancient trek routes in the Sahyadri ranges. This old route shall put your endurance level to test. This a life changing experience, and worth every effort that you put in every stride. Hills and downhill, plateaus and long vast plateaus, dense forest of Karvi plants, ever changing route, breathe taking senic beauty. One of the most amazing trekking experiences we must say.

How to come to Lonavala for Pune Participants: Take last 12.10am local from Pune station to reach Lonavala.
By Road take any ST bus for Mumbai going via Lonavla ST depot. (Meeting point)
TreksandTrails Itinerary for LoBhi trek Saturday – Day 1
02.00 Leave Lonavala after introduction round for Valvand Village
07.00 Breakfast at Valvand village. We shall have our pack lunch under a shade on the way.
Reach Savla/Padarwadi. Dinner and stay shall be here.
Sunday Day 2
05.00 Wake-up call
06.00 Start journey early after breakfast
13.00 Reach Bhimashankar, Lunch at Bhimashankar
Descend Bhimashankar by Ganesh ghat
Reach Karjat by 18.30pm.
Things to be carried:
Identity proof, Lunch for Day 1, Fruits, Biscuits, Plum cakes, Dry Snacks, Chocolates, Health Drinks etc
3 litres of water, Candles and TORCH with extra batteries, Cap, Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes, 2-3 bunch of papers. Bedding / Sleeping Bag / Carry Matt, A plate, mug, and spoon, Windcheaters, Wear Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks, Pair of floaters (to relax after the trek on day one). Camera (Optional). Put your things in a haversack so your hands are free while trekking.

Disclosures on medical conditions
It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind and disclose the same and your medical history to the organizers of the trip so that best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval. As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves. The cost mentioned above is for Indian citizens ONLY payable in Indian Rupees.
